چکیده

The main objective of the paper was to determine ligno-cellulose quality and calorific value switchgrass Panicum virgatum L. impact nutrition treatments (pre-sowing soil humic amendment HA and/or NPK, with annual dose N on both treatments, untreated control UC) years were evaluated as effects within a pilot experiment seven cultivars tested during 2018–2022. Two data sets acid detergent fiber (ADF), lignin (ADL), crude cellulose (CE), hemicellulose (HEM), neutral (NDF), high heating (HHV) evaluated, primary one in terms content secondary yield. average ADF 43.94% (range 30.15–50.91), while contents ADL, CE, HEM, NDF, HHV 9.21% (6.02–12.41), 34.73% (17.98–40.08), 30.49% (21.34–38.41), 74.43% (59.20–81.15%), 17.206 kJ g−1 (16.579–17.799), respectively. An adequate yield 4.17 Mg ha−1 (0.01–29.31), for NDF this 0.79 (0.00–5.39), 3.37 (0.01–23.92), 2.79 (0.01–17.66), 6.96 (0.01–46.93), 1.466 hGJ (0.003–10.603), In cultivar confirmed be most important factor followed by year, having least impact. This order valid each parameters. Moreover, formation homogeneity groups corresponded dry matter therefore (EG 1101 ˃ BO Master EG 1102 Kanlow Alamo Carthage NJ Ecotype), (2021 2020 2022 2019 2018), (HA NPK UC).

Rust Diseases on Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum)

Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum) is a perennial C 4 grass native to the central prairies of North America. Recent development of switchgrass as a sustainable biofuel feedstock has raised interest in diseases that could impact switchgrass, especially when grown under monoculture conditions. Among the known diseases of switchgrass, rust diseases are the most widespread and could potentially impact ...

Synergistic and Antagonistic Effects of Salinity and pH on Germination in Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.)

The effects of salt-alkaline mixed stress on switchgrass were investigated by evaluating seed germination and the proline, malondialdehyde (MDA) and soluble sugar contents in three switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.) cultivars in order to identify which can be successfully produced on marginal lands affected by salt-alkaline mixed stress. The experimental conditions consisted of four levels of sa...
